CHICAGO – Susan Henry, senior vice president of The Jacobson Group – the national human capital services firm serving the insurance, healthcare and financial services industries – will share strategies for increasing career satisfaction and perfecting interview skills at the Midwest Claim Conference, Thursday, May 6, in Lake Geneva, Wis.
Henry will present two sessions at the event. Her first session, “How to Maximize Job Satisfaction,” will provide best practices for both managers and employees to enhance engagement and overall professional fulfillment. Her second session, “Conquering the Behavioral Interview,” will arm attendees with techniques to stand out among other candidates by providing interview responses that highlight transferable skills and accomplishments.
“No matter the state of the economy, interview and career management strategies should be at the forefront of employees’ minds,” said Henry. “Studies show that employee morale has dropped this past year. It is crucial that professionals are able to take ownership for their own career satisfaction, whether it is within their current role or through a job change.”
As the senior vice president of Jacobson Associates and Jacobson Solutions – Local Talent, Henry oversees both the professional recruiting and temporary and temp-to-hire service divisions. A member of Jacobson’s executive management team, she plays a key role in the continued development and market visibility of the entire organization. Henry is a past president of the Illinois Search and Staffing Association (ISSA) and is involved in several insurance and staffing industry associations at the local, regional and national levels.
