CHICAGO — Jacobson Executive Search has placed Stephen W. Koslow as Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for CUNA Mutual Group of Madison, Wis. This announcement marks the successful completion of the nationwide search conducted by the Chicago-based executive search firm serving the insurance, healthcare and financial services industries on behalf of the leading provider of financial services to credit unions and their members.
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, Faye Patzner, Koslow will act as a principle architect for compliance within a wide range of enterprise operations. He will oversee company performance in compliance, corporate ethics and privacy. Koslow will also serve as Chairperson for their Compliance Leadership Council.

Koslow brings extensive experience in the compliance discipline to his new role at CUNA Mutual Group. Most recently, Koslow served as a Director focused on providing governance, risk and compliance services for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was awarded Distinctive Advisor Recognition. Koslow has long been an industry leader in compliance, privacy and ethics structures; he has authored a number of articles and presentations on these topics. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and his Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law in Evanston, Ill.
