Ihor Hron brings a successful career record of more than 30 years in the insurance industry to his role on the Advisory Board of The Jacobson Group. Most recently, Mr. Hron served as Chairman and President/Chief Executive Officer of The Midland Life Insurance Company of Columbus, Ohio. Previously, he was employed by Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company, where he served as President and Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. His proven insurance expertise is also drawn from tenures with CIGNA and CIGNA Reinsurance. Currently retired, Mr. Hron continues to share his expertise as an independent business consultant. Mr. Hron received his bachelor’s degree from Rutger’s University of New Brunswick, N.J. He completed coursework towards his PhD of Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University of University Park, Penn., as well as graduate coursework at the Austin Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford of Hartford, Conn.
