Senior Vice President of Jacobson Associates
Martin “Marty” Murphy is Senior Vice President of Jacobson Associates, the professional recruiting arm of The Jacobson Group. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of Jacobson Associates, Murphy contributes to the strategic direction and growth of the entire organization through his role on The Jacobson Group’s Executive Management Team. Murphy also manages select recruiting assignments for the firm’s core industries: insurance, healthcare and financial services.
Murphy joined Jacobson Associates in 2002 after serving more than 20 years with Lincoln Financial Group, and its former subsidiary American States, holding various executive positions in the property and casualty, life and health and investment areas. His last position with LFG was Regional Chief Executive Officer of the Lincoln Financial Advisors office in St. Louis.
Murphy’s insights on the industry’s labor market and career management are highly regarded, and he is often featured as a regular speaker at various association events. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, and holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation.
