David Schwartz serves on the Advisory Board of The Jacobson Group. Now retired, his dynamic business leadership background includes 35 years at Arthur Andersen, most recently as Senior Partner. Currently, Mr. Schwartz serves as a business advisor and consultant to various companies, primarily in the retail, distribution and services industries. His successful career also includes tenures as Managing Partner of the Chicago Office Audit and Business Consulting Practice and of the Chicago Office Commercials Audit Practice. Additionally, Mr. Schwartz provided editorial guidance and insight in the writing of the book, “Small Store Survival — Success Strategies for Retailers.” Presently, Mr. Schwartz is a member of the Board of Directors at Walgreen Co.; Foot Locker, Inc.; and True Value Company, as well as several other privately-held companies. He is also active in various civic, charitable and professional organizations.
