September 17, 2019

CHICAGO – In the current candidate’s market, competition for top talent is growing among all insurance disciplines. Experts from The Jacobson Group and the Insurance Careers Movement will share insights and best practices for how medical professional liability companies can stay competitive in the current employment environment at the Medical Professional Liability Association’s 2019 Technology, Human Resources and Finance Workshop.

“The Impact of the Talent War on MPL Companies” will take place September 27 in Chicago, and feature four quick-paced presentations followed by dedicated discussion time. Presenters will include Gregory P. Jacobson, co-CEO of The Jacobson Group; Judy Busby, senior vice president of executive search and corporate strategy of The Jacobson Group; Brett Carter, engagement director of The Jacobson Group; and Marguerite Tortorello, managing director of the Insurance Careers Movement.

“Insurers are facing intense competition for top talent,” said Jacobson. “In this session, we’ll explore how MPL companies can adapt to the current talent landscape by reevaluating their traditional recruiting methods and expanding their candidate pools.”
