Hancock Claims Consultants Announces Selection of New Senior Vice President – Carrier Relations and Business Development

ATLANTA – Hancock Claims Consultants president and CEO, John Bradford Hancock, today announced that Jeffrey Rainville has joined the company as senior vice president – carrier relations and business development. The search was conducted by the executive search practice of The Jacobson Group. Joyce Dunn, vice president and managing partner, led this successful engagement.

“Jeff is a very strong addition to the seasoned management team at Hancock,” said Hancock. “Jeff’s extensive carrier relations, business development and third-party administrator experience, along with his strong relationships throughout the property and casualty industry will dramatically help to accelerate Hancock’s already strong organic growth and enhance the significant operational expertise of the company.” Rainville will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and working with carrier, third-party administrator and independent adjusting partners so that Hancock can expand its scope of services and help those firms become more efficient and effective in their handling of both day-to-day and catastrophe related property and casualty claims.

Rainville started his career with national carriers Liberty Mutual and The Hanover Group prior to moving to Atlanta to become assistant vice president. He also led Custard Insurance Adjusters’ third-party administration division. While at Custard he became vice president of sales and was instrumental in leading the national sales team in a period of significant expansion for the company. He later led North American sales and marketing efforts for Polygon (formerly Munters), an international temporary climate control and catastrophe response provider; served as vice president of sales with NCP Group, a catastrophe and property adjusting company he helped form; and with CIS Group, a company much like Hancock Claims Consultants. Most recently he served as district vice president with CorVel Corporation where he led all New England business activities for the $600 million national property and casualty third party claims administrator and managed care cost containment provider.

Rainville is a graduate of Syracuse University, with a degree in finance and marketing; has successfully completed a variety of graduate law, sales and leadership courses; and has received several awards for sales excellence including CorVel’s Circle of Excellence and Inner Circle awards.
