CHICAGO – The Jacobson Group, the leading provider of talent to the insurance industry, is proud to announce the promotions of Marcia Bray and Michelle Velto to vice president roles. Bray will serve as vice president of fulfillment for Jacobson’s staffing solutions and Velto as vice president of fulfillment for its executive search practice.
In these expanded roles, both will serve as members of Jacobson’s senior leadership team, contributing to the organization’s long-term growth and strategic direction. In their respective positions, Bray will oversee recruiting and fulfillment across Jacobson’s professional recruiting and temporary staffing teams, while Velto will guide cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of executive search engagements.
“Marcia and Michelle have each made a meaningful impact on Jacobson through the innovative work they do with their teams, candidates and clients,” said Corey Pinkham, president of Jacobson. “Their contributions have helped shape how we engage with talent and support our clients today, and we’re excited to see how their leadership continues to guide the firm.”
Bray brings more than 15 years of experience in staffing, with expertise in recruiting, talent operations and strategic client partnerships. She joined Jacobson in 2023 as director of recruiting for the temporary staffing team, where she led initiatives that strengthened recruiting processes, improved fulfillment efficiency, and enhanced outcomes for clients and candidates. Prior to joining Jacobson, she served as senior practice director for Randstad. Bray holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources management from Baker College in Owosso, Mich.

Velto has more than two decades of progressive leadership experience in executive search operations and team management, with a track record of advancing projects that enhance operational efficiencies, strengthen cross-functional teams, and improve service delivery and candidate experience. She joined Jacobson in 2006, advancing through roles of increasing responsibility in operations, administration and process management. Velto earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
