Sharon Kent is an Engagement Director for The Jacobson Group’s executive search team, strategically engaging and assessing C-Suite, Board of Directors and other executive-level candidates for clients from all sectors of the insurance industry.
Sharon brings more than three decades of insurance industry leadership experience to her role, spanning actuarial, underwriting, product management, human resources, agency automation, marketing and operations, with specific expertise in commercial lines and workers’ compensation. In her most recent role with a national workers' compensation-focused carrier, she oversaw a management team and more than 20 business development underwriters in the Northeast region. Having spent her career leading teams, driving strategic initiatives and partnering with executive leadership, Sharon understands firsthand the qualities that define exceptional leaders. She leverages that experience to help clients identify talent who align with both business objectives and organizational culture while serving as a trusted advisor to candidates navigating their careers.
Sharon attended Northwood University in Midland, Mich., where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in management and marketing.
